Ingredients

  • ice cubes (for the shaker)
  • 30ml dry gin
  • 20ml elderflower liqueur
  • 45ml freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 15ml Lillet Blanc
  • dash of lemon bitters
  • lemon twist, for garnish
Its claim to fame in 2024 may be mega-star Taylor Swift, but it seems the French Blonde was created in the 1920s by a Parisian bartender. Makes 1.
  1. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, dry gin, elderflower liqueur, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, Lillet Blanc, and lemon bitters.
  2. Shake until the cocktail shaker is almost too cold to touch (about 15 to 20 seconds).
  3. Strain it into a coupe glass, then garnish with a lemon peel.
