Gin Donut

Ingredients

  • For the cinnamon sugar rim:
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • For the cocktail:
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry jam
  • 60ml gin
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 30ml Chambord
  • soda
  • ice

Inspired by the lip-licking deliciousness of jam donuts, this cocktail blends aromatic gin with lemon juice, raspberry jam, soda and the berry cognac liqueur Chambord, plus a cinnamon sugar rim. Serves 1

  1. To make the cinnamon sugar rim, mix together cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Run a wedge of lemon or lime around the rim of each glass and dip into the bowl
  2. Place jam, gin and lemon juice in a small jug and whisk with a fork to combine. Spoon into glasses and top with ice. Pour over Chambord and soda and stir gently to combine
