Raspberry and Apple Sangria

Ingredients

  • ½ punnet fresh raspberries
  • 1 bottle red wine (we used Peregrine Pinot Noir)
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 1L crisp apple juice
  • fresh raspberries and granny smith apple bits, to garnish
Sweet crisp apple and luscious raspberries add a new, and very pretty, dimension to a summer staple
  1. Blitz raspberries in a blender (add a spoonful of water if necessary), then fine strain into a large jug.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to the jug with plenty of ice and stir to combine. Serve in wine glasses over ice.
