Tipsy Strawberry Sundae

Ingredients

  • For the sauce:
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine
  • 2 tablespoons vodka
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • For the ice cream mix:
  • 3 scoops Lewis Road Creamery Strawberry Ice Cream
  • 1/2 cup Lewis Road Creamery Fresh Strawberry Milk
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • To garnish:
  • whipped cream
  • amaretti biscuits
  • fresh berries

Lewis Road Creamery Strawberry Ice Cream and Fresh Strawberry Milk combine with vodka, cream and a decadent boozy berry sauce to make all your dessert dreams come true. Go on, you know you want to. Serves two

  1. To make the sauce, mix together all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer together over a low heat until syrupy
  2. For the sundae, place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until a thick, soft-serve like texture is reached
  3. Pour ice cream mix into two tall glasses and top with warm strawberry sauce
  4. Garnish with cream, biscuits and berries, as desired
  5. Enjoy!
