Ingredients

30ml hot espresso (or double strength instant coffee works fine)

chocolate sauce

2-3 scoops of ice-cream

30ml chocolate stout beer

15ml amaretto liqueur

waffle cone

chocolate shavings, to garnish
Turn your ice-cream upside down, quite literally, with this indulgent caffeine-hit that's welcome anytime of year. Serves 1.

Pre-chill your glass by placing it in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.

Prepare espresso.

Pour a generous amount of store-bought chocolate sauce into a glass, followed by 2-3 scoops of ice-cream.

Gently add espresso, amaretto liqueur and chocolate stout beer.

Add an upside down waffle cone and chocolate shavings, to garnish.
