The May Fizz

Ingredients

  • ice
  • 45ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
  • 20ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml Grenadine
  • 20ml egg white (about one egg white)
  • Angostura bitters, a few drops
  • 60ml soda water
  • mint, to garnish
Gin and soda as we know it but with a little bit extra – thanks to the egg white and Grenadine. Serves 1.
  1. Chill a highball glass.
  2. Into a cocktail shaker add a handful of ice, Tanqueray London Dry Gin, lemon juice, Grenadine, egg white and Angostura bitters.
  3. Put the lid on the shaker and shake for 15 seconds.
  4. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  5. Strain cocktail from shaker into glass, then add soda water.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of mint. Enjoy!
