Ingredients

  • 60ml gin
  • 15ml single malt Scotch whisky
  • 15ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml orange curacao
  • 2 handfuls ice
  • thyme sprig, to garnish
It’s the cocktail fit for a King – bringing together King Charles’ favourite spirits – gin and Scotch whisky – and a dash of citrus. Serves 1.

Made famous by The Charles Restaurant in historic Wethersfield, Connecticut. Here's our take on the King Charles Cocktail. 

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.

  2. Shake well, then strain into a stemmed glass of your choice.
  3. Add a sprig of thyme, to garnish.
