Fig & Honey Whisky Sour

Ingredients

  • 15ml honey
  • 1 tbsp fig paste
  • 60ml fresh lemon juice 
  • 90ml whisky
  • 1 egg white
  • ice cubes
  • fresh fig, halved lengthways, to garnish
  • thyme sprigs, to garnish
Sweeten up mum's day with this whisky sour, with the addition of honey and fig. Serves 1.
  1. Add honey and fig paste to a cocktail shaker. Muddle well until smooth.
  2. Add lemon juice, whisky and egg white, then dry shake (without ice) for 30 seconds.
  3. Add a handful of ice cubes and shake for another 30 seconds.
  4. Strain into glass and garnish with half a fresh fig and thyme sprigs.
