Bloody Mary

Ingredients

  • salt of choice to rim glass, (chilli salt, celery salt, sea salt)
  • ice cubes
  • ¾ cup spicy tomato-vegetable juice cocktail (such as V8)
  • 30ml vodka
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco)
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • gherkins, celery stalks, olives, to garnish
A hangover cure? A tomato-vegetable juice kick? Whatever your reason for a Bloody Mary, make it a good one. Here's how.
  1. Pour salt of choice onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of a glass and press into the salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes and set aside.
  2. Strain Bloody Mary into the prepared glass. Garnish with gherkins and/or celery stalks and olives.
