Spicy Prawn & Roast Capsicum Pizza


  • 1 large pizza dough (see recipe link) or store-bought pizza base
  • 3 tablespoons passata sauce
  • 8-10 raw prawns
  • 1 roasted red pepper, skinned and cored, cut into slices
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 8 kalamata olives, stones removed
  • 1/4 red onion, cut into thin rings
  • pinch dried chilli flakes
  • 150g fresh mozzarella, cut into rounds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • sea salt
  • cracked pepper
  • 10 fresh basil leaves, to serve
A pizza that packs some serious flavour punch. Serves 4.

PIZZA DOUGH: Click here for the homemade pizza dough recipe, or buy store-bought pizza bases at any good supermarket. 

Note: Cook times will differ depending on the pizza base you use. 

  1. Prepare pizza base by making your own (see recipe for handmade pizza dough on this page) or buy a ready-made pizza base.
  2. Preheat oven to 220° fan bake.
  3. Smear passata sauce on pizza dough. Top with prawns and remaining ingredients.
  4. Season with salt and cracked pepper. Bake for 10 minutes or until base is crisp.
