Saucy Pulled Pork & Mozzarella Sliders


  • 400-500g pulled pork
  • 1 cup smoky BBQ sauce
  • 12-14 mini slider buns
  • Baby spinach leaves
  • 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic butter
  • Sliced spring onions and chopped fresh herbs, to serve
These moreish slider buns are amazing paired with a good warming bourbon. Winter magic. Serves 6

Warm yourself from the inside - have a glass of Buffalo Trace Bourbon in your other hand!

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º. Combine the pulled pork and BBQ sauce and mix well.
  2. Cut the sliders through the centre to make tops and bottoms. Arrange a spoonful of BBQ pulled pork on each bun base, top with a few spinach leaves and a little of the grated cheese. Pop the tops on, then arrange the filled sliders in a shallow ovenproof tray. Brush the tops with garlic butter and sprinkle with a little more grated cheese, especially between each bun.
  3. When almost ready to serve, bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbling. Garnish with sliced spring onions and fresh herbs and serve.
