Jacob's Creek adds to Double Barrel Range

The Australian wine brand has added a new Shiraz Cabernet to its popular Double Barrel range

Red wine lovers will need no introduction to Jacob's Creek. The premium wines are matured partly in traditionally toasted wine barrels, and finished in aged Scotch whisky or Irish whiskey barrels - hence why they are called 'Double Barrel'. This technique imparts additional layers of complexity, beautifully integrated tannins, and a beautifully smooth mouthfeel.

Adding to their range which includes Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, Jacob's Creek has now released a Shiraz Cabernet which is delicious as a winter wine. With aromas of toffee and créme caramel and nutmeg, the dark chocolate notes of shiraz is joined by the rich cassis of the Cabernet Sauvignon, creating another flavoursome note to this range of innovative wines.
