Affectionately coined ‘the red one’, the new Pal is packaged in a pastel red can and combines juicy sweet notes of Red Peach with Yuzu, a Japanese zesty citrus fruit with triple-distilled vodka and soda.

The team taste-tested and refined more than 100 different iterations to land on the winner - the sweetness of red peach, combined with the zestiness of yuzu made for a delicious final result we’re super excited to share” says Pals Co-Founder/Director, Nick Marshall.

Kept Us Guessing

“We had a bit of fun with this launch, keeping everyone guessing. We wanted to play on Pals fans dubbing their favourite flavours using the can colours e.g ‘the Purple One’, which is truly unique to the brand, so we took out billboards across the country and turned them red with a date, logo and copy reading ‘The Red One’ to get everyone talking. It’s been very entertaining hearing everyone’s guesses and we’re excited to finally be able to announce what it is and hear what people think,” - says Pals Co-Founder/Director, Mat Croad.

Pals has continued to go from strength to strength since launch, with the announcement of multiple local and global partnerships. The latest of which includes a three-year deal with Live Nation, which will see Pals bring the full range of its drinks to Kiwi music lovers at the world’s leading live entertainment company’s events and venues across New Zealand. Other partnerships include New Zealand Cricket, NZ Ski and Sky Stadium.
