Leftfield winery has come up with a foolproof approach to sundowners, with LF Seltzers, a tasty botanical twist on a much-loved tipple.
Three ready-to-drink wine-based seltzers are made by infusing award-winning Leftfield wines with a dash of free-spirited freshness in a Kiwi first - and it's launching just in time for summer.
Tantalise your tastebuds with LF Seltzer's three delicious flavours. The freshest of the bunch, Yuzu, Mint & Cucumber with Sauvignon Blanc, celebrates zesty in all its glory; Pear and Ginger with Pinot Gris spices up the scene with a subtle sharpness and full-bodied flavour; and for lovers of sweeter tones, the fragrant and oh-so-moreish Strawberry & Hibiscus with Rosé will be hard to resist.
Leftfield winemaker Richard Painter says the seltzers are made to be fun. "Refreshing, clean and delicious is what our tribe said they were after, so we got to work and created LF Seltzers from Leftfield wines, sparkling water and natural botanical flavours - the ideal accompaniment to those perfect sun-soaked days. I am thrilled to share our creations with the world," he says.
LF Seltzer is for those who want some balance with their beverage, with just 68 calories and less than one gram of sugar per serve. LF Seltzers can be picked up from Liquorland stores nationwide.
It gets even better for Aucklanders: New Zealand's first adults-only gelateria, the LF Seltzer Scoop Shop, is popping up throughout November from a cute little parlour on the deck of Sweat Shop until December.
