Seafood Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 12 cooked mussels in the half shell
  • 300 grams cooked prawns
  • 3 cups cooked pasta shapes – penne, shells, spirals etc
  • Seafood sauce:
  • ½ cup aioli or mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped capers or gherkins
  • 1 lemon – juice and grated lemon zest
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • Lemon/lime wedges for squeezing
The bounty of the sea, all in one flavourful dish – it's a showstopper!
  1. Cook and prepare the seafood and pasta and then chill.
  2. Combine the aioli, sriracha, Worcestershire, capers. lemon juice and zest. Mix together well, season to taste with salt & cracked pepper.
  3. Toss the pasta and prawns with the seafood sauce and arrange in a serving bowl with the mussels, sprinkle with the spring onions and serve with citrus wedges for squeezing.
