Finger Licken' Chicken Drums

Ingredients

  • 8-10 small chicken drumsticks
  • ¼ cup buttermilk or ¼ cup plain yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon each turmeric, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, celery
  • Topping ingredients
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon each black & white sesame seeds
  • Spray oil
Always a finger food favourite, these crispy, crunchy chicken drumsticks will be gone before you know it!
  1. Combine the chicken drumsticks, buttermilk or yogurt and all the spices, toss to coat the chicken well. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight if possible. When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 185°C and line a baking tray with cooking paper.
  2. Arrange the marinated chicken drums in a single layer on the tray and sprinkle with the combined panko, flour and sesame seeds.
  3. Spray with oil then bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and crunchy and the juices run clear when pierced.
