With delightful aromas of red berries and spices, it’s a medium bodied wine that’s soft on the palate with fresh fruit-driven flavours. At selected Liquorland stores, RRP $17.99, 750ml

The Varietal: Tempranillo

A savory and medium-to-full-bodied red wine varietal from Spain, tempranillo is loved for its rich dark fruit flavours. Tempranillo is an innovative varietal for Brown Brothers that was released after great success at the winery’s cellar door. Brown Brothers 1889 Tempranillo was developed in the brand’s “kindergarten winery” where small batches of new varietals and techniques are trialed.
