Be in to win a set of the latest wine glasses designed to make Graham Norton’s Own Sauvignon Blanc and Invivo Sauvignon Blanc taste even better
For the past six years, New Zealand wine brand Invivo has been collaborating with British TV presenter Graham Norton, culminating in 2014 with the release of the brand Graham Norton’s Own wines.
You can read about the release of the new 2017 vintage of Graham Norton’s Own Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Shiraz and Prosecco, and watch their hilarious new video showing Norton going solo on the blending of this year’s wines here.
Once you’ve done that, get yourself into this week’s amazing Toast giveaway, where Invivo is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a set of six Riedel Veritas Sauvignon Blanc glasses valued at $318.
In 1986, Riedel was the first glassmaker to release designs based on wine varietals, with shapes that would best concentrate the flavours of specific wines in the mouth. In 1997 at a workshop at Cloudy Bay winery in Marlborough, Riedel created an additional glass, designed specifically for the flavour characteristics of “New World” wines (e.g New Zealand, Australia, USA).
Now, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this glass, Riedel have again collaborated with Marlborough winemakers, to create the new Veritas Sauvignon Blanc glass, which features a slightly taller, more tapered bowl to better bring out the flavours of New World-style wines. “Wine styles inevitably evolve over the years, as a result of winemaking techniques, changing climate, and trends,” says Mark Baulderstone, managing director of Riedel Australia and New Zealand. “In order to continue to stand by our brand philosophy, we need to evolve with them.”
