Stoneleigh has created a premium certified organic and vegan wine range, made using New Zealand's natural gifts.
Stoneleigh, New Zealand’s number one wine brand, has created Stoneleigh Organic, a premium range of wines that are certified organic and vegan, and are a true reflection of the grape.
Stoneleigh’s ethos is simple: nature knows best, in the sunstones that ripen the grapes, to the fertile soils deep underground. Chief Winemaker Jamie Marfell says, “With a minimal intervention winemaking approach, we are able to craft wines that respect our organic terroir, with lifted aromatics and fresh, fruit-forward flavours”.
Naturally clean, vibrant and complex, the range features Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Pinot Noir at an RRP of $21.99. The new range showcases the purest expression of Marlboorugh and New Zealand nature, giving wine lovers a unique wine experience.
A pale lemon-gold, with notes of crunch pear and apple skin, Stoneleigh Organic Pinot Gris is a gorgeously cheerful wine that works well with salty aperitifs and cheeses, olives, shellfish and is perfect for summer picnics. The medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc is powerfully aromatic, with passionfruit, capsicum, fennel and white pepper, making it a delicious match for fresh, citrussy herb salads, mild curries, tomato-based dishes like pizza, and seafood – just add a squeeze of lemon.
The Stoneleigh Organic Rosé is a gorgeous tea-rose colour, full of strawberry, cranberry and raspberry sorbet, with a hint of vanilla pod. Try with a warm goats cheese salad or crab dishes, and works beautifully alongside Chinese food like hoisin pork and Asian slaw; also delicious with a fresh fruit dessert with vanilla cream.
With its sultry magenta shade, the Pinor Noir is smoky and savoury, with dark fruits complemented by toasted vanilla and allspice. It’s a great match for many meals, from smoked salmon pasta to slow-cooked beef cheeks and mushroom dishes; grilled foods work well too, so rock one of these out at your next barbecue!
The Stoneleigh Organics range is grown in living soil and has no synthetic herbicide or pesticide treatments, simply nature’s own solution.
