Discover Your New Favourite Wine

Liquorland has just made choosing a bottle of wine much easier with the launch of Liquorland’s Finest, a seasonal range of eight award-winning wines recommended by top industry experts

Finding the right bottle of wine to enjoy can be so confusing, it’s often easier just to grab a bottle of something you know. Now Liquorland has taken away the stress with the launch of Liquorland’s Finest, an initiative to introduce wine lovers to award-winning varietals, in conjunction with some of the wine industry’s top experts. “These are wines that the experts have picked, and wine judges have awarded – now you get to enjoy it,” says Liquorland NZ CEO Brendon Lawry.

Chosen by experts

Starting this week, Liquorland’s Finest will provide tasting notes on a range of eight seasonal wines suitable for every palate and price point, as chosen by a panel of experts headed by Jim Harre, who has been a wine judge for more than 20 years across New Zealand, the United States, London, Australia, Japan and China. “The wines we have picked are what we consider to be the very top levels of their variety,” explains Harre. “Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to taste a range of wines before they buy, so we have tasted a huge number and have pulled out a few that we believe have the X factor – that extra special something.”
