WHISKY TWO WAYS

Perfect for warming up cold winter evenings, here are two different ways to enjoy whisky

The Whisky: We’ve opted for Glenmorangie The Original – a 10 year old single malt whisky that comes from Scotland’s tallest whisky stills and is matured in American white oak bourbon casks. With aromas and flavours of mandarin, lemon, peach and vanilla, it’s a soft, mellow and creamy whisky that lends itself well to differnt ways of sipping...

ONE: NEAT

Sip in its purest form to experience the full variety of flavours and aromas.

Taste & Smell Tips: Like a summer sundae, you’ll smell and taste sun-ripened fruits like mandarin, peach and pear with vanilla ice cream and a scattering of spices like nutmeg and ginger.

Sip suggestion: Glenmorangie The Original is best enjoyed neat when the nights are cold and you fancy something warming to linger over.

TWO: WITH A TWIST

Adding a large ice cube and a curl of orange peel will dampen the whisky’s warmth slightly, while bringing out the citrus flavours and scents to create a crisper drink with a creamy finish.

Taste & Smell Tips: Like a walk in a Mediterranean citrus grove, you’ll smell and taste lots of mandarin, lemon and bergamot, with a creamy finish.

Sip suggestion: Glenmorangie The Original with a twist works best as an early evening aperitif and to enjoy at social gatherings.
