Love a good cocktail? Then grab your tickets to the hottest event of the year, Highball – where Wellington’s (and the world’s) best purveyors of mixed drinks will showcase their finest creations.

Proudly presented by Liquorland, the inaugural Highball Festival will be held at the capital’s historic Embassy Theatre on May 11-12, 2019, and launches Wellington Cocktail Week (May 13-19).

Local and international distilleries, as well as Wellington’s top cocktail bars and talent, will be exhibiting and speaking on everything cocktail and spirits related. Festival-goers will learn about a range of topics, such as the history of cocktails, Tiki culture and the many different ways spirits can be used as ingredients to enhance your beverage of choice.

And the capital’s top restaurants will also be dishing up some culinary delights to festival goers, as well as some live music to boot.
