Get ready for Bombay Sapphire’s unmissable pop-up for 2017, The Botanical Bazaar
Now in their third year, Bombay Sapphire’s pop-ups are one of the hottest annual events on the Auckland calendar.
This year the event offers a sensory journey through a bustling international bazaar, with mouth-watering food and drink stalls, plus music provided by hot local DJs.
Inspired by the countries where Bombay Sapphire sources some of the 10 botanical ingredients used to make its premium gin, globetrotting stalls will offer food and cocktails that take their cues from the flavours of Spain, Italy, China, Germany and Morocco.
The five food and cocktail stalls are specially curated by Bombay Sapphire spirits ambassador, Chase Bickerton, and Jamie Johnston, the man behind pop-up dining sensation, Judge Bao. All tickets include two food tokens and two drink tokens redeemable at the Botanical Bazaar. (How to choose? Don’t worry, more tokens can be purchased in advance or on the night).
Our gotta-have-it food and drink combo for the event is a German bratwurst, pretzel and sauerkraut burger paired with Angelic Bier – a combination of Bombay Sapphire with passionfruit shrub and angelica honey, topped with beer and an orange blossom and hop spray (pictured below).
