Celebrate creative women with Cointreau

Fancy a Cointreau mixer championing the ideas of creative New Zealand women? Do we have the event for you..

Ever since Louisa Cointreau was the "guiding spirit” of Cointreau when it began in the 1800s, the spirited firm has honoured and supported women around the world.

Its soirée spirit has spread to New Zealand with the Idealog/Cointreau Creative Kickstart competition on Thursday 4th August 2016.

Come along to hear finalists pitch their clever business ideas, worthy charity initiatives and interesting creative projects —in precisely 3 minutes and 33 seconds each –then vote with Idealog's Pitch Circus app to declare the winner.

The finalists are:

Shalane Hopkins for her natural, environmentally-friendly and customisable hygiene products.

Claire Conza for Make Give Live, a social enterprise making hand-crafted knitwear to give warmth and support to those in need.

Nicole Lin for impactNPO, which hosts hackathons to help non profit organisations, charities and social enterprises with their IT, design and business problems.

Lisa King, co-founder of social enterprise Eat My Lunch, will join the line-up to discuss social enterprise, feeding hungry school kids and her plans for Eat My Lunch.

All this takes place at the Eat My Lunch headquarters, 5 Galatos Street, Auckland, on Thursday, 4 August. Cointreau cocktails and canapés will be on hand from 6pm and the event finishes up at 8.30pm.

Tickets are on sale now at just $29 each.
