Ultimate Bloody Mary


  • 2 1/2 cups tomato juice (freshly made from ripe tomatoes if possible)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Worstershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups vodka

Because there are occasions that definitely, absolutely call for a Bloody Mary

  1. Combine all ingredients expect vodka and garnishes in a large pitcher and refrigerate for several hours or preferably overnight to let flavours settle
  2. Stir in vodka well to combine, then fill tall glasses, or jars, with ice and pour content of pitcher into each glass
  3. Pop a circle of radish on the rim of each glass, place celery stick in and serve with lemon wedges, plus extra salt, pepper, hot sauce and horseradish for guests to adjust to their taste
