60ml vodka 42 Below Pure Vodka

100ml brine from olives, gherkins or other pickles

teaspoon smoked paprika

juice of 1 lime

tomato juice, to top

grilled lime halves, to garnish

1/8- teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons fine salt
Slightly deviating from the classic Bloody Mary, this smoky concoction makes the perfect winter treat. Serves 1

Mix vodka with brine(s), paprika and lime juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Pour into a rimmed tall glass filled with ice and top with tomato juice. Squeeze in grilled limes halves and drop them in.

Paprika and salt rim: Using two small plates, dip the rim of a glass into the lime juice and then into the mixed paprika and salt.

Grilled limes: Place cut-side down in a very hot pan until charred.
