Rum Riesling Fizz

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons jam (we used Barker’s Blackberry Jam)
  • 40ml Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum
  • 15ml fresh lime juice
  • 15ml Mt Difficulty Riesling
  • 15ml coconut water
  • 30ml soda water

A party-ready cocktail made with white rum, riesling, coconut water, lime and soda. Serves 1

  1. Using a basting brush, paint stripes of jam inside a champagne flute working from the bottom of the glass to the top – feel free to be as creative as you like here!
  2. Add the Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum, lime juice, riesling and coconut water to a shaker (or jam jar), fill halfway with ice and hard shake for 15 seconds. Fine strain into your jam-painted flute, then top with soda water
  3. Hot tip: Use a spoon to whip up the jam before painting the inside of the glass. Once painted, for added strength, place glasses in the freezer for a few minutes before serving
