Vodka Watermelon Spritz

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh watermelon, diced into cubes and de-pipped
  • ice (we made ours with watermelon juice and water, frozen in an ice tray)
  • 50ml Absolut Watermelon Vodka
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • sparkling wine (or soda water)
  • watermelon wedge, lime, mint, to garnish
Savour this sweet and fruity fizzy drink, which can be served just for one or bulk-made for a crowd. Serves 1.

Note: To bulk-make as punch, use a ratio of 1-part vodka to 3-parts sparkling wine or soda water, and increase the fresh watermelon to taste.

  1. Chill a wine or coupe glass.
  2. Add fresh watermelon, cubed and de-pipped, into a shaker and muddle.
  3. Add ice cubes.
  4. Add vodka and simple syrup.
  5. Stir to combine, then strain over glass.
  6. Top with bubbles.
  7. Garnish with a watermelon wedge, slice of lime and/or mint.
