Ingredients

small handful basil and mint, plus extra for garnish (optional)

50ml whisky

50ml Midori

30ml fresh lime juice

ginger ale, to top (we used East Imperial)
Melon sweetness, herbaceous freshness, zesty lime and ginger and the toasted notes of whisky make this an intriguing and refreshing sipper. Makes 1

Muddle basil and mint in the bottom of a cocktail shaker

Add ice, whisky, Midori and lime juice and shake well

Fine strain into an ice-filled glass and top with ginger ale

Garnish with basil and mint leaves, if desired

Note: We blitzed the strained green mixture with lots of ice in a powerful blender to make a frozen drink, before
adding the ginger ale
