Mint julep

Ingredients

  • 60ml bourbon
  • 10ml sugar syrup
  • 8 mint leaves
  1. In a Julep cup or highball glass, lightly muddle the mint and sugar syrup - don't over do it, 6 - 8 turns of the muddler should be enough. Add crushed ice, the bourbon and a splash of water. Stir well and garnish with a mint sprig.
