Vodka Marmalade Fix

Ingredients

40ml Smirnoff Vodka
1 tablespoon marmalade (we used Barkers Mandarin and Ginger)
20ml fresh lemon juice
10ml chickpea brine (the brine inside a can of chickpeas)
ice
2 pinches freeze-dried fruit powders (we used Fresh As Passionfruit and Blueberry), to garnish

Marmalade and jam are great cheat's tools for adding interesting flavour to cocktails like this sweet and tangy concoction. Serves 1

Add all ingredients to shaker (or jam jar), dry shake (without ice) for 5 seconds, then half-fill with ice and hard shake for 10 seconds more. Fine strain into a chilled glass, and garnish with the fruit powders
Hot tip: chickpea brine is a great vegan alternative to egg white, which gives a great texture to a drink and often enhances the flavour. Egg white can be substituted here
