Lemon and Mint Fizz


  • sherbet rim (optional)
  • 3 mint leaves
  • 50ml vodka
  • 1-2 scoops lemon sorbet
  • prosecco, to top
  • mint sprig, to garnish (optional)

Elegant yet fun – this bubbly treat made with ingredients found in classic Kiwi gardens and dairies is as refreshing as it is sophisticated. Serves 1

  1. For a sherbet rim, squeeze citrus juice onto a plate and scatter sherbet on another. Coat the rim of a glass in the juice, then dip into the sherbet to create an even layer
  2. Muddle the mint in a cocktail shaker. Add the vodka and lemon sorbet and shake vigorously until combined
  3. Strain into a champagne glass and top with bubbles, to taste. Garnish with a mint sprig
