Fruity Negroni

Ingredients

  • 100ml Brown Brothers Zibibbo sparkling wine
  • 100ml orange juice (with no pulp)
  • 15ml Campari
  • 15ml gin
  • orange slices, to garnish
  • ice

The hugely popular Negroni cocktail was created when Italian Count Camillo Negroni asked his local barman for a little more punch in his Americano. The barman replaced soda with gin and the Negroni was born. We like ours with a little fizz, like in this version made with a splash of Zibibbo sparkling wine. Serves 1

  1. Throw a few ice cubes into a large tumbler and add Campari and gin
  2. Pour over the orange juice and top with Zibibbo, then stir lightly and garnish with a fresh slice of orange
