Ingredients

  • 100ml banana-infused Maker’s Mark Bourbon
  • 20ml Bols Crème de Cacao
  • 2 shots espresso
  • Grated nutmeg to garnish
  • BANANA INGREDIENTS
  • 200ml Maker’s Mark Bourbon
  • 1 banana
November's Cocktail of the Month is La Mauz 'The Muse' made with banana-infused Maker's Mark Bourbon and Bols Crème de Cacao. Serves 2

The signature taste of vanilla and butterscotch flavours found in Maker’s Mark are coupled with a banana infusion, before adding notes of cacao and coffee for a truly decadent after dinner treat.

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add all ingredients
  2. Stir for 30 seconds, or until chilled
  3. Strain into chilled coupe glasses and garnish with grated nutmeg
  4. FOR BANANA INFUSION
  5. In a mason jar pour 200ml Maker’s Mark Bourbon and add 1 sliced banana
  6. Leave for 3-4 days. This will give flavour and texture to the bourbon
  7. Strain into the cocktail shaker using a mesh strainer
