Classic Pink Gin

Ingredients

  • 45ml London dry gin
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 5ml fresh lime juice
  • 150ml tonic water
  • orange zest and whole star anise to garnish (optional)

Pink gins are about to explode this summer. Heres the original drink that kick-started the craze in case you want to get in early and make one from scratch. Recipe by Mikey Ball of Ballin Drinks

  1. Add all ingredients to highball glass, half fill with ice and give a couple of turns to incorporate ingredients then fill the glass to the top with ice. Garnish with a nicely cut orange zest and a single star anise (if using)
  2. Top Tip:
    For the best results, use a vegetable peeler to cut your garnishes, then finish them off by using a sharp knife to clean up the edges
