BEER SYRUP

Ingredients

  • 2 cups beer
  • 1 cup sugar

Use this tasty beer syrup to add hoppy flavour and sweetness to cocktails or drizzle on ice cream, fruit and desserts

  1. Add 2 cups of beer (we used a pale ale) and 1 cup of sugar (we used brown sugar) to a saucepan, stir and heat on low
  2. Continue heating, stirring occasionally, until reduced by half
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool
