Wellington craft brewery Panhead Custom Ales are bringing their impressive range of craft beers to the Auckland waterfront this summer. Get yourself in the draw this week to win a $100 food and drink voucher to spend at their amazing Panhead Viaduct Custom Bar
Panhead Custom Ales are known for creating tasty, industry-leading “boutique bogan” craft beers. Now the Wellington brewery has opened a pop-up space on the Auckland waterfront, just in time for summer.
Featuring a 14-strong tap system, pool table, games, art by Wellington tattoo artist and illustrator Simon Morse, plus a tasty range of cocktails and beer-matched foods, the Panhead Viaduct Custom Bar will also bring some of Panhead’s exciting experimental and one-off beers to the City of Sails for the first time.
“Although our tasting room will be up and running at the brewery soon, Aucklanders haven’t had the chance to see what we’re about up close. Until now our tap beer availability up here has been pretty limited,” says Panhead head brewer Mike Neilsen. “Now that our pilot plant’s cranking out a different beer every week you’ll see a steady stream of the weird, wonderful and intense on tap.”
To celebrate the opening, this week Toast is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a $100 food and drink voucher to spend at the Panhead Viaduct Custom Bar in Auckland, so they can experience experimental brews like the Busted Knuckle, Bug Crusher and Snake Oil first-hand. Please note: the prize includes a voucher to spend at the Panhead Viaduct Custom Bar only, the winner will need to make their own way to and from the bar.
The Panhead Pop-up bar is located at 204 Quay Street, Auckland Viaduct, Auckland Central. Open 11.30am–late Wed-Sun.
