Hazy Does It: Tuatara's New Craze

Our love for hazy beer isn't diminishing any time soon, and Tuatara's new Hazy IPA is set to be another winner

We love our hazy beers here in New Zealand. Originally a bit of a black sheep when they first arrived, hazy beers have a cloudy appearance, not transparent like other beers. That foggy appearance results in an intricate and multi-layered beer, that's super-expressive in both aroma and flavour.

The Tuatara Hazy IPA, ABV 5.7%, is a golden, light copper colour, and has a gentle but powerful flavour. It features aromas of passionfruit and mango followed by grapefruit on the nose, and a smooth and silky punchbowl mouthfeel. The passionfruit and mango flavours follow through on the taste, and is followed up with a pinch of lime and grapefruit.

This is a delicious beer to match with Mexican food; try it with Mexican pulled pork and a coriander and mango salsa.
