Find out the fruity winner of Tuatara’s annual head-to-head to become the special summer release beer for 2018
Over the past few months two of Tuatara Brewing Co.’s experimental brews have gone head-to-head in craft bars around the country. Participating customers voted on their favourite with the winning beer crowned ‘King of the Coast’ and released as the Summer Limited Edition beer for 2018/2019.
The 2018 showdown saw a Peach and Passionfruit Gose taking on a Belgian Mandarin Witbier brawler over nine bruising (brewsing?!) rounds.
Winning Beer
Consumers were invited to place their winning votes into voting boxes at each of the participating craft bars, and the King of the Coast 2018 winner was the Peach and Passionfruit Gose.
Tasting Notes
This golden orange brew packs a punch with lashings of peach and tropical passionfruit, and a firm bitterness balanced by layers of sour and subtle salt. RRP$9.99, 500ml (4.6% abv) available at selected Liquorland stores from early November
